Every Thursday for 6 Weeks / 3:30 - 4:30pm / Beginning 1st May 2025
Service Description
Ignite your young person's spark for stitching and making. Students begin their sewing journey with hand stitching and embroidery skills. We progress to learning the basics of how to use a sewing machine and making simple clothing, bags and accessories. I also integrate mending and upcycling skills. They'll discover the huge possibilities sewing can bring to their style and individuality, skill set and your self esteem. Previous projects included: Pencil case Rucksack Skater Skirt Prom outfits Jumpsuit/dungarees Pyjama bottoms ...and SO many more!... Previous basic experience with a sewing machine is preferable. Diana is a trained teacher with 30 years experience and up to date DBS. We also offer a After School Club for ages 12-18 years, as well as kits for your kids to do at home!
