This is a proper CHORE jacket. Designed to be worn while you’re out and about, with nice big pockets for your keys and phone, plus an extra top pocket to keep your train ticket or earphones.
 
Our take on this classic work wear jacket has bust darts and a slightly nipped-in waist. When you make your own clothes you can get those details just right, so it looks perfectly tailored. My fave thing about this jacket is that it’s neat, short and fitted but I can still wear my jumper underneath for walks.
 
This kit is for more experienced sewers but is still so much easier than it looks. I promise, when you wear it out someone will ask where you got it and you’ll be able to shout with pride, “I MADE IT!’
